***About Hispanic Heritage Month: Hispanic Heritage Month is celebrated annually in the United States from September 15 to October 15. It honors the cultures and contributions of both Hispanic and Latino Americans as they inspire others to achieve success and contribute to a diverse America. Starting in the middle of September, it coincides with national independence days in several Latin American countries, including Guatemala, Honduras, El Salvador, Nicaragua, and Costa Rica, which celebrate on September 15, followed by Mexico on September 16 and Chile on September 18. Throughout the month, communities across the country host festivals, art shows, conferences, community gatherings, and much more, all to celebrate the history, culture, and contributions of individuals whose ancestors came from Spain, Mexico, the Caribbean, and Central and South America.:
